The CCS Forum was open to the public and well attended.
In the following Insight the Institute's Principal Manager - Public Engagement, Kirsty Anderson provides an overview of some of the key topics discussed and links to presentations.
The afternoon focused on a local case study with presentations from the UK and Scottish Governments, and a novel ‘Knowledge Share Speed Dating’ session with the UK’s three most advanced CCS projects.
The Forum concluded with a British Foreign and Commonwealth Office supported panel discussion amongst leading figures in the applied research community and chaired by Tim Wiwchar of the Canadian Quest Project.
In between sessions delegates were encouraged to network, participate and learn more about a variety of public engagement activities currently being undertaken by the Global CCS Institute.
